  • ZnSe Rectangles

Zinc selenide (ZnSe) is a relatively hard and brittle material. It is insoluble in water but is attacked by strong acids and bases. ZnSe has a good mid-IR spectral range reaching to about 500 cm-1 at the long wavelength side of the spectrum, depending upon window thickness.

  • ZnSe Disks, XP-NBAR Coated Windows

Application of Spectral Systems XP-NBAR™ (narrow-band anti-reflective) coating onto ZnSe windows considerably increases infrared throughput within a more limited spectral region. This coated window is optimized for the spectral region covering 8-12 microns.

  • ZnSe Disks, XP-BBAR Coated Windows

Application of Spectral Systems XP-BBAR™ (broad-band anti-reflective) coating onto ZnSe windows considerably increases infrared throughput within the widest spectral range. This coated window is optimized for the spectral region covering 2-14 microns.

  • ZnSe Disks, Wedged XP-BBAR Coated Window

Application of wedging and Spectral Systems XP-BBAR™ (broad-band anti-reflective) coating onto ZnSe windows considerably increases infrared throughput within the widest spectral range and minimizes fringing effects. This wedged, coated window is optimized for the spectral region covering 2-14 microns.
