Al2O3 Disks
Aluminum Oxide (Al2O3) is an extremely durable material with excellent chemical resistance. It is on the GRAS list and is an excellent choice for NIR measurements on process streams. Al2O3 is birefringent and all applications should be checked for the effects of this upon the measurement.
