This is much more than a branding exercise; it is the culmination of integration activities which started 18 months ago with a re-organization of our sales, marketing, and customer service teams (customer intimacy) and continued with engineering (design authority), operations, HR, and finance.
We have used the term ‘OneOmega’ internally as our rally cry for all of these activities. We truly believe the new Omega Optical is a stronger integrated whole, and will be better positioned to provide increased value to our employees, customers, and stakeholders through:
• Consolidated sales and service channels which improve communication and problem understanding
• Increased depth of engineering solutions which help get customers new products to market on-time and on-budget
• Better than market-expected lead times for order fulfillment and benchmarkable quality
